This is the best page of them all... the party page! Please check here regularly for party dates so that your child can be prepared and look forward to the festivities. I will also send home two-week reminders with them.
October 4: Harvest Party
On this day, we will be bobbing for apple slices, making crafts with fall leaves, counting the seeds in a pumpkin, and eating apple pie and drinking apple cider! This will be a very, very fun morning.
If you are able to collect changing leaves, please send them in with your child to help collect them for our special craft!
If your child has allergies, please let us know so that we can get a substitute snack!
Finally, if your child desires to, please send them in with "harvest" clothes: for example, a plaid shirt or some farmer attire!
October 18: 100 Things Show-and-Tell Party
This party is the culmination of our counting lessons! We have been practicing our counting long and hard, and this is a reward for the kids.
Please send your child in on October 18 with "100 Things". These things could be 100 pennies, 100 peanuts, 100 coupons, ect.! Please DO NOT go out and buy anything, please use things around your home.
Your child will get the chance to talk about their 100 things in front of the whole class! Please count out the 100 things with them, as they will be very proud to show you their new counting skills.
